At a friend’s holiday party all of the kids were herded into a bedroom to watch iPad movies. Although I was there to socialize and not to work (I made a conscious decision not to bring my Nikon and had only my camera phone), it’s capturing moments like this that remind me of my joy in documenting the small yet special details of life.
